Google’s Bing ad platform is to join the Bing ad industry, according to a report.
The new Bing advertising platform, which will be operated by the internet giant and its partners, will offer ad-friendly ads based on keywords and social media.
The move will be a significant step towards increasing Bing’s ad revenue and the company is keen to increase its position in the online advertising market.
Google’s move comes after the company announced a $50m investment in a social media network to help boost advertising revenue.
The new Bingham ad network will focus on keywords such as “buzz” and “likes” that can be easily searched by Bing users.
The announcement comes in the wake of a number of online advertising scandals and concerns about privacy and security.
