This week on the podcast, comedian Adam Carolla and host Paul Scheer look at the new, revamped TV comedy channel, and discuss what it means for the future of television.
What do you like about it?
Adam Carolla: The new TV comedy is a much better idea.
It’s a much more diverse and diverse lineup, with a new host, a new comedy writers room, and new writers and producers.
Paul Scheers: You know, I think the new TV network will be better.
It’ll have a better mix of creators.
I think it’ll be more fun.
And I think they’re gonna be able to have a more diverse lineup of talent, so I think that’s gonna be a better deal for everyone.

Paul: I’m really looking forward in the new year to the first week of March when the show premieres, and then it’ll all kind of settle in.
I’m excited to see how that pans out.
Adam: I don’t think it’s going to be too long, either.
Paul Schlesinger: I think we’re gonna get a good sense of how it all works and then I’m gonna be just thrilled that it’s all coming together.
